Latest Pick-Up- Burn Rubber x New Balance MT580

Hey Fly world! Its been a minute since I updated this blog. I've been working hard, not sleeping, etc.  I never bought a pair of New Balance but these caught my eye. Nice materials used on the shoe (Suede, mesh, 3M, patent leather) topped of with a gum sole. Burn Rubber Detroit definitely did their thing when they designed these. Air Jordan XIII "Flint"

I could have had these back in 2005 but my friend talked me into to doing something stupid.  I'm like the 15th person in line at Finishline and I'm guaranteed a pair.  My homie is all in my ear talking about "Look there's only two people waiting in line at Footaction, you'll have a better chance getting them." So I'm like "ok that sounds right" plus the line I was in was moving so slow. I'm now standing in line at Footaction, remember I'm the 3rd person in line. The store wasn't opened yet, I waited about 20 minutes.  The manager finally pulls the gate up. My heart is beating fast, excitement is rushing through my veins.  He steps out and says"No 9, 10, or 10.5, SOLDOUT!" I'm like "No 10.5!" "WTF yall  just opened up!" My boy is over there laughing so hard at me, I was so pissed. After that we rushed out of the mall and went to a store over on 7 Mile inside a strip mall. Man it was people kicking the door, screaming out sizes, running to their cars with the shoes in their hands. I got home and called every store in Michigan and had no luck. SO ON NOVEMBER 26TH I WILL TRY THIS AGAIN. WISH ME LUCK.

Set to drop December 18, 2010. It's going to be a tuff decision for some people around Christmas.  The "Cool Grey" Air Jordan 11 is also set to drop around the same time. The price for these should be $190 like all the other colorways. Top 10 shoe of the year in my opinion.

Kanye is about to drop a video for his new single "Power" this Thursday on MTV.  Don't miss it! At the moment his new album is still untitled.  On Twitter he said he was still thinking of a title.  I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Air Jordan VII Olympic retro "For the love of the game"

The Air Jordan Olympic 7 returns after 6 years with a slight change.  The golden heart basketball logo on the side represents "For the love of the game". The retro from August 2004 did not feature the logo.  I still have my pair from 2004 and I'm deciding if I should cop these or wait for something I don't have already. The shoe looks great!  If you are interested in buying a pair the release date is August 13th.

Blackberry Torch 9800

RIM is set to release their latest Blackberry phone on August 12th only for AT&T users. This phone is a slider and also features touchscreen.  It's loaded with the new Blackberry 6 OS and it promises users better web browsing.  I'm glad that RIM kept the buttons for users who don't like to touch their screen for every command. Sadly everyone who doesn't have the AT&T service will have to wait for this model.  But older models such as the bold and pearl will be able to download the Blackberry 6 OS in months to come.

The Last Exorcism in theaters August 27th

My homie just told me he recently seen this preview and it looks f*****g scary!  According to Wikipedia, the film is told from the perspective of a disillusioned Protestant priest, who after years of performing exorcisms decides to participate in a documentary chronicling his last exorcism while exposing the fraud of his ministry. After receiving a letter from a farmer asking for help in driving out the devil, he meets the farmer's afflicted daughter. The tagline and premise of the movie is "If you believe in God, then you believe in the Devil." The film itself is presented as "found footage".  Sounds like a great horror flick to me. What do you think about it?  Check out the trailer!

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3

Slated for a Spring 2011 release date. I'm a huge fan of the Marvel Vs. Capcom series. It may be my favorite video game of all time. It looks like this time around Capcom enhanced the graphics, added new characters and upgraded the fighting engine.  Tag team air combos?!! Check out this gameplay footage!!
 

Air Jordan XI Retro "Cool Grey"

The Cool Grey 11 is rumored to be released again Holiday 2010. When this color first released in 2001 it was so crazy in Detroit.  People were getting robbed, shot, stabbed, and ran over for these shoes. Unfortunately I was unable to obtain a pair.  Hopefully this time around I'll be able to get a pair, or two, or three lol.
